Abstract

ABSTRAK Abstract— Archives are processes process start with receiving, collecting, organizing, controlling, maintaining, and caring for files, as well as storing them according to a certain system. Many companies and offices have computerized their systems to streamline operations. The Indonesian Navy's Main Weapons Laboratory still uses the manual method for archiving letters, which means that if the documents are large and piled up, it will be difficult to find them when needed. In this research, the system development method used is the waterfall method because each stage that is passed must be done sequentially; you cannot skip the previous stage if it has not been completed. From the existing problems, a webbased archiving information system was created using the waterfall method, which will later be able to support work at the Indonesian Navy's Weapons Main Laboratory so that documents and letters that you want to find again can be done quickly and precisely, no longer requiring a long time, which can hinder work time.
