Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF AUGMENTED REALITY (AR) ON ANDROID-BASED HOME CATALOGS By : Adrian Indra Arrohman Advisor : Achmad Zakki Falani, S.Kom., M.Kom. ABSTRACT Augmented Reality (AR) technology is a technology that combines two- dimensional or three-dimensional virtual objects into a real environment and then projects these virtual objects in more real time. In this research we will use Augmented Reality technology into the home catalog application in Taman Krian Regency housing, so that this home catalog application will become more real with the 3D objects contained in the home catalog application. This house catalog application is an android-based application, where this Augmented Reality application uses the smartphone camera spotlight directly as a detection source, then this application will track and read markers (markers) using a markless bassed tracking system, after the marker has been successfully detected, the house object 3D in the catalog application will appear above the marker so that it looks as if the house model is real. By making this application, it is hoped that there will be an increase in buyer interest in the homes offered by the Taman Krian Regency housing developer.
