Abstract

From various result of research these days indicate that the most determining effort in increasing productivity is the productive behavior of the workers. Any attempt which excludes the productive behavior of course will not give any contribution both to the company and to the workers. Correlated to that issue, in order to achieve the required target of the organization, one of the most crucial elements and should be concerned is the matter of human resource, which then formed a concept of Empowerment Human Resources. The present research covers three analysis, those are: Is there any interaction influence between motivation and rank to the productive behavior of the workers of PT. Indonesia Power The results of the study conducted are : 1. There is an interaction influence between motivation and rank to the productive behavior of the workers of PT. Indonesia Power, which reveals the result of the interaction test through t-test, i.e. t calculate = 2,105, while sig. = 0,043 < 0,05. it means that it can be stated that motivation does influence the productive behavior, in which the rank here is as the moderation variable. As a result the rank (moderation variable) can reinforce or decline individual’s motivation to behave productively. 2. Apart of the above result, the present study also reveals that both motivation variable and rank does influence to the productive behavior of the workers of PT. Indonesia Power. It is shown from the result of the F test, in which Fo = 228,458 i.e. (sig < 0,05), means that it is correct that motivation and rank does influence the productive behavior of the workers of PT. Indonesia Power since the influence of motivation and rank is significant, shown by the coefficient multiple correlation (adjusted R²) = 0,970 shows that the motivation and rank both have an effect of 94,70% to an individual’s productive behavior, while the remain of 5,30% shows the value of the other free variable which is not covered in the present study.
