Data were taken from 7 commercial banks that have a minimum of asset value 50 trillion Rupiah. The research method is associative with quantitative approach . Data analysis using multiple linear regression , and the data processed with SPSS 16.0. Results of research resulted in the regression equation is ROA = 6.224 - 0,003CAR - 0,331NPL - 0,027LDR . Simultaneously CAR , NPL , and LDR significant effect on ROA . The coefficient of determination shows that the adjusted R Square is 34.7 % , which means that the variable CAR , NPL , and LDR can explain ROA amounted to 34.7 % , while the remaining 65.3 % is influenced by other variables not accounted for in this study , From the statistical t test , that variable CAR partially significant negative effect on ROA , NPL variable partially significant negative effect on ROA , and LDR variable partially significant negative effect on ROA . Keywords: Capital Adequacy ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Return on Asset (ROA)
